Also, KT allegedly returning to Celtic in the summer.

And Heaven following Obi-Martin to Old Trafford (which is supposedly going to be redeveloped into a 100,000 seat stadium).

PGMOL now look utterly ridiculous, standing their ground over a ludicrous decision and trying to deflect with stories of abuse and gay referees.

    Pathetic

Now, they can REALLY go after us
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Hopefully we'll get a break from Oliver for a while. The rest we can usually cope with.

The scrutiny on him next time he referees us is going to be unreal

Dunno. They'll want to back their mate and teach us a lesson.

I'm hoping they've learned from this that they can only push us so far before people remember that they hate refs almost as much as they hate us.

Or they've learned to stick to two yellows. Not only does tjat remove the var aspect but you can justify a yellow card for pretty much anything- seagull impressions, waving a card, being Japanese at a throw in. ...

Very good points. Be sure that will take positive steps to immediately repair the situation.

On that score, the good news is our ref for the Manchester City game is said to be a Liverpool "fan" from Liverpool.

    Which is nice

Yes, there is a lot of this stuff flying around. Let's not fall into assuming that just because somebody isn't from Liverpool they are not a Liverpool fan. Or that football referees are swayed only by their fan allegiance.

Or that their mistakes are always due to their bias. As AJP Taylor said, human stupidity has done more to shape the world than human wickedness.

In fairness, I'd assume any Liverpool fan would want a draw. City looked much better against Chelsea and as everyone knows, they're more than capable of putting together a decent back half of the season......hopefully, not starting at the weekend!
