He really was a clown. If the Refs want to solve a problem in football they should look at their own use of yellow cards. The ludicrous inconsistency in how they are applied, from week to week and in game, has a big but slightly hidden effect on matches and sits outside VAR scrutiny. A couple of those bookings in the first half were pathetic.
