I was at University in Sheffield
Went to the replay (chauffeured by one Amy Lawrence). Merse did indeed score a great goal in the first game. Wrighty got the winner in the replay past Lukic (the lob –*actually a chip - IUFG may be thinking of was another game much later, with Dennis and Merse also scoring). Travelling back to Sheffield was fun as we had to go a different way to most of the other Arsenal fans. The long string of replays was a couple of years earlier

Well yes, if you can count the 1% chance he will actually play for them.... very soundly run club and seem to give young players more of a chance than most (and they stuffed the Mancs on Sunday, which is nice)
