1. We did exactly this, and yes, it is possible, but you need a special sort of flue and it costs arms and legs.

3. Yes, I would recommend having an expert do it. Costs will be what they are.

Have you any further information on the special flue that you mention? I think I should be able to keep costs down by providing all the bits and just paying for the expert to do this thing.
