My father in law was there in 1953. Took him by there to the open day, he loved it. he says the area has changed beyond all imagination from when he was first at Lackland.

GSTB served, did basic training, the whole bit. I tip my cap to the old man. Hate his politics, he got bitter about this USA stuff along the way, but love the fact that he did his time in the military...

Pretty much around the same time my dad did as well!
