2010–11 season
After playing as a rotation role in the 2010–11 season he injured himself in a pre-season training session, suffering a serious knee injury which required an operation.
2011–12 season
Flamini spent the entire 2011–12 season out.

I wouldn't mind if we signed Flamini for 1 or 2 seasons.
Put purely as squard player.
Like the Benayoun loan. He isn't a long term solution and shouldn't interfere with any potential targets we have in mind.
As long as Flamini is happy with that of course.
I read someone on twitter say it's only taken us 6 years of negotiations to get him to sign a new contract.

Oh yes. And it would be a big sign yet once again we don't have cover.
I was against Henry coming in on loan. It was a big sign that even though he is old and playing in the MLS he was still better than what we had
