That was a rather short revisit to Blackburn for Henning Berg, wasn't it...

Not sure if it did his cv much good.

CV could read player and manager of Blackburn Rovers, winning Premiership while at club?

Not bad imo, not least since it nicely airbrushes Dalglish out of the picture. That's how I would write it, anyway.

  3. #3

Yeah, well it could actually also read: "first player to win the premier league with two different

clubs". Which is quite amazing. Just sad that these guys screw up their rep by becoming failures as managers.

  4. #4

Indeed, but I guess his next job will not be as a player, so he should gloss the manager bit.

Chelsea will be looking for a new one soon.

  5. #5

hehe He should have done like Lorimer and opened a pub, imo.

  6. #6

    Willy Young, Terry Neil etc

  7. #7

I was in his pub the other day. He doesn't like The Arsenal one bit

  8. #8

    Oh, top clangage Jorge. :onenudding:

Oh come on, the lad's hardly Gary Wilmott in the fame stakes

And it's not like he doesn't own a pub in the rougher areas of Leeds.

He never, ever likes my joke about Mel Sterland's Shelfish Van either
