Is that not true?
Just watched that disallowed goal for the Eagles vs Sperz. The guy on the wing playing the pass, has his ball on the dark green strip. Fully. And yet the forward's whole body, including his face, is clearly behind the strip cut line.
Have I been wrong all these years about the player being onside if he's behind the ball when it's played? Does anyone know?
I do wish they'd just have the off-side rule on where the players feet are. You keep yourself just behind the defender but when you bend your knees and lean forward so you can it start to accelerate when the ball is played, you're now offside. It's an insane rule.
