I do. I'd love to see Big Willy drop his shoulder, jink past one or two and smack it into the top corner. He has the ability and it would be "unpredictability".
not sure what was wrong with him on Saturday. his passing was awful.

As Sol did against Portsmouth. Also Kompany smashing that one in.

The one across the pitch straight to the Everton midfielder was particularly irritating!! I was beginning to lose my **** at that point.

You could hear the tension in the stadium. Along with that ****ing drum.

That was a huge result. Everton were very, very impressive.

They were but how the hell was that not a penalty and red card!!! Clean through, absolutely no reason to go over and clearly fouled, utter joke!

I think the red card is why they wouldn't give the penalty. They bottled it completely.

The attempts to explain it away were pathetic. It is unfortunate, and I'd agree a red card is harsh. But it is a clear penalty. Not giving it is scandalous

He was off it, for sure.

    Dowman on the other hand...
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

For me, on seeing a replay, that decision tonot give a penalty and red card is as bent as not giving a red card to van Nistelrooy for his (ahem) challenge on Cole. :fume:

I don't think a red is harsh, it's about the clearest denial of a goalscoring opportunity that you'll see.

Yes, but it isnt deliberate. Feels harsh to have both punishments. It is the rule, I just dont like it
