Quite a few were atrocious last night.

I'm really trying to tell myself it is all about form or fitness but Odegaard was dreadful again. His drop off this season has been quite alarming.

I've told myself it's because he missed the start of the season and so has never got up to speed, this quite patently nonsense but I'm sticking to it. As long as he performs in the 3 European matches, I'll take that.

I think there is an element of protecting Nwaneri - he has played a lot of games for an 18 year old and has had a few niggles

This makes more sense, I?ll go with that but conversely, he?s been running MLS into the ground at a similar age. I?m interested to see how he balances hm with Calafiori next season, equally, Saka and Nwaneri.

Yeah - also thought that as well. He has given MLS a couple of games off. I think though MLS is a different beast - just seems solid. Can't believe he is only 18.

I think Nwaneri has eyes on a different position - defintely wants to play more centrally. Will be interesting

At this point, I'd say MLS is miles ahead of Calafiori as our left back. Not even close.

We now have four great options in the full back positions which is great to see. Rotating those next season would be a huge benefit.

That?s assuming Arteta embraces rotation. He?s not been great at that in the past but in fairness he?s not had that luxury this season.

I still wouldn't mind a White/Timber combination at full back - but unlikely now with MLS

MLS in place of Partey on Tuesday with White & Timber at full back?

I'd be happy with that but it ain't going to happen. it will be the midfield that started against Ipswich with Leo up front
