I remember everyone at my school being awfully excited about the release date looming. We all had it on order at the local record shop. I also remember how deflating it was to put it on the turntable and hear a bunch of middling pop songs.

I don't know what I expected, really.

I of course had older brothers who subjected me to awful ****e on the stereo, rock music if you will, but I have little memory of this act save the 2 songs I alluded to.

Ah, Supertramp. They were a bit mince really, weren't they?

I was humming one of their numbers in the bath just this morning.

A rather high pitched singing voice which on reflection was quite annoying*.

Was it off 'Breakfast in America'?
