Without his intervention, Gab would have scored - I am convinced.

And the way he made himself the centre of attention by having stern words with both keepers about coming off their lines - rules which neither keeper needed any reminding of whatsoever. He's another Michael Oliver - an utter, utter c unt.
Rules which he didn't enforce, by the way.

A Germanic Michael Oliver. Is there anything lower?

Steady on, gents. Ze Chermans just won us the Premier League
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Coming off the line is only enforced if the player doesn't score. I've just watched all 3 missed penalties and paused them all at the moment the player kicks the ball. In each, the goalkeeper still has one foot on the line at that moment. There was no infringement.

Fair enough. I saw a video from behind the goal of the Eze penalty but it could have been misleading.

The ball has long left Eze's boot here, keeper still on the line.

Hmmm - I'm certain I've seen a player have to retake a penalty he had scored because the keeper left early

That would be pretty mental. Rewarding a sin...
