    Real Madrid Arsenal gameday thread

    GO ON YOU GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Three things to begin:

    1) Great result last night, PSG won but looked very shaky at the back, very confident we can beat PSG if we get past Madrid
    2) Someone please tell me Partey is fit, his performance in the first leg was superb but overshadowed by Rice
    3) GO ON YOU GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am filled with a sense of doom. Two unanswered goals before half time and I'm going out for a walk.

I?d like to see White back and fit for the return. Calafiori has been one season long sick note, so not holding out much hope there. We have such depth in defence, it?s almost been criminal the way we?ve had to juggle at the back.
I still can?t see us blowing this one, however. This RM side is reliant on individuals and appears unstructured playing as a unit. Their defence is all over the place.

Just found this on arsenal.com - I'm happy

    on team news:
The positive one is Ben White, he managed to train with us today, so he will be in the squad. [Thomas Partey] is available, he had a niggle in the game, that's why he had to come off, but he felt good after the last few days, so he's fine. And Jorgi unfortunately, is not here after the incident over the weekend, he hasn't recovered so our thoughts are with him.

As per 1st leg, front 3 plus Bellingham are excellent, the rest not so much (apart from Courthois)

Just to clarify, our thoughts are with Jorgninho? Did he die, or is he just injured?

We need Partey and Rice to last 90 min.

If so, we will, and all will be well.

tbh, Jorginho being out is a relief. It is painful watching him running through treacle against average speed players, nevermind the v pacey lot RM have got.
“Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.”
