I can't be the only one who is pleased that we are to face Real over Atletico?

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that we'd beat Atletico over two legs. We have an abject lack of creativity (I know this will be addressed in summer and with folk cominng back from injury) but with the way they play; no chance.

At least against Real we'll have chances. They'll give us more space. And I think we are probably the best defensive side left in the competition. So here is to hopinng for a low scorinig couple of games. And if that happens I think we may well nick it.

    The Arsenal 2 - 1 Real Madrid.

We are going, as a wise man once said, to get gubbed.

If we score a goal in either leg I will give up giving up booze.

I think we'll be in it after the 1st leg (draw or 2-1 win) but then get battered at theirs.

You are underestimating what a good manager Arteta is in these sort of situations. If we go there with a lead we can play the best low block in world football.

And if Saka and Gabi are fit then we have pace to hit them on the break if we do go down that route.

    Agreed. It's on.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

To be fair, Rich is kind of right. We don't tend to get battered very often.

Judging by their performance against Athletico, there are a few issues in that side. Openly rowing with each other on the pitch. If we can keep the games close, the pressure might get to them.

If we can keep the games close........

I really can't see us getting past them, but it certainly isn't impossible.

If the ties were the other way around, I'd probably agree.

Of course we'll score. Their defence is powderpuff.

Are we speaking about the men?s or the women?s competition here ?
According to Wrighty, we were tucked up like a kipper because of the state of the pitch, although he may have missed the bit about it being poor for both teams.
