Far too rare, in my opinion

And ideally I would leave him there, he has been outstanding. But we have dozens of full backs and **** all up front. I am not entirely convinced by the reinvention of Tierney as a marauding winger. MLS might be an option we have to consider.

Centre forward is still the big, nasty issue. Merino did the goal scoring part beautifully for 10 minutes but there is a lot more to the role than that.

The 2nd goal was a cracking finish, not easy those and made it look a tap in.

Absolutely - lovely goal. Also Leo did put in a great ball having struggled a bit all match

Looked much more comfortable back on the left than through the centre. Pity he airkicked his shot from that lovely Odegaard clip over the top.

    Wasn't he offside anyway?

He was for the first one when he hit the keeper. Not for the one when he completely miskicked

Everyone going on about Nwaneri but Odegaard was absolutely sublime at times

Still don't think he has hit his best form yet. But yes, he was great at times. That second goal was all about him carrying the ball from the box and spotting the pass.

yes - he wasn't quite at his best but he is such a beautiful footballer

Having said that I want us to spend the rest of season lumping into the box and scaring the **** out of the opposition. Once Ben White and maybe Tomi are up to speed stick Gabriel up front imo
