Arteta must have wanted us to go out.

It's the only explanation. They were running at 60% throttle ffs.

All fagged out, minds' in Dubai.

Possibly we might have announced the jolly AFTER the match, just for look's sake, but Newcastle United certainly wanted it more, as they say; good discipline.

Fairplay to our lads, they've been terrific lately.

We were out-fought and out-thought last night. If Odegaard's early shot that screwed wide had gone in it would've been a different story. But it didn't and we wilted in the heat of battle. Their fans kept up a good atmosphere too. Hope they win it, 56 years of hurt and all that since they won the Fairs Cup, not 70 years per Sky since they won the FA Cup. Plus given either of who-ever they'll be playing!

    Well done Eddie Howe too.

I have no issue with being knocked out at the earliest opportunity of this sodding trophy. The FA Cup exit pisses me off greatly.

You're a bigger man than I. I hope God sets fire to their ****ty football club. I am close to even hoping spurs beat them 😕 😔

I don't mind your average geordie, but I ****ing hate that club

During lockdown, we watched every single episode of "Spender"; one of them was about a missing footballer and was set at their ground.

    RIP Stick.

Even if they do, they still won't invite us to join the Red Cartel
