General observations about work since Pandemic

not just work I noticed this for other things too

It's impossible to speak to anyone on the phone,
    a simple answer takes forever
    everything is 'urgent'
everything needs a teams or zoom call. even if you are in the same office.

Even trying to arrange a drink with friends seems like you have to check the calendar.

I love it. No longer tied to a desk 8 hours a day in case the phone rings.

I do three hours of work in the morning and then play with my horses

I go in all the time but there is nobody here. It's fantastic

I hang out with people, drink tea, do a bit of work here and there. And because you are here nobody ever accuses you of doing sod all, so you can comfortably do sod all

I know this feeling. (Not the scrap of work bit - I actually have to work surprisingly hard to be as lazy as I am). I come into the office every day - did so even through Covid), never early though. I generally do an hour or so at home - answering emails etc – before even thinking about leaving the house
