As per my post on X, If Jesus finished as well as his movement, he?d score 20+.

Odd performance really, never needed to get out of 2nd gear. MA has done a cracking job in CL (I still hate the new format) but pretty much qualified top 8 with 2 of the lesser teams still to play.

Keepers tend to end up with a lot of credit against jesus.... his finishing is awful, there is no point pretending otherwise.

That said.... the young full back plays a lovely ball for the first , the ball across from jesus is phenomenal. The pace, the whip, the angle, all perfect.

Other than that, sorry but I don't like this competition. I can't get excited about the games at all.

Keepers tend to end up with a lot of credit against jesus.... his finishing is awful, there is no point pretending otherwise.

I actually thought the second save was better. But cant remember the first one that well.....

I thought Kiwior looked better. Still hoping he will grow with some regular games at centre back. He definitely looks more comfortable there than at left back.

Lewis Skelly looks a seriously good prospect. Has a bit of everything.

The other positive was Merino linking up with Martinelli. We looked a much bigger threat from the left last night.

In both cases I don't think they are easy finishes because of the ball (the first one) and the defender (second one). Decent attempt on both from Jesus, he doesnt do much wrong. But then he never does, and never scores....
