We bought Fabio Vieira but he was injured which meant that he never really got a run in the side. He scored that beautiful long range shot on his first start. Then last year when Kai was playing inside left with no end product, Fab came on and won a pelanty and made a goal for Eddie. But when we moved Kai up top, Fab stayed on the bench with Dec at IL.

JT got injured in his first game. But this season, injuries to Cala and Benny Blanc have given him a chance to prove his worth. Given Benny can play RCH and Cala LCH, his ability to play both FB roles mean we can have one first choice defender being injured without it costing us, so he's now sorted.

But MnM being injured and then ?din means he hasn't had the chance to cement his place in the side, esp. cos TP5 hs rediscovered his best form. Like Fab {and unlike JT} the fact that he can't play multiple positions will make it harder for him.

I still wanna see Dec-MnM-?din but you can't drop TP5 when he's playing so well. I reckon in a game, he can cover for Dec when the latter goes forward. He also gives us a second aerial outlet when we go long, as well as another big lad for set pieces.

Just hope his pre-season injury doesn't ruin his AFC career like Fab's did. I hope he can cement a role in the squad like JT has.
