So then, a hundred million quid for their centre forward.

Tonight may have saved us some money. Well done, Gabby and Wilo.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Saliba looked very comfortable against him.

He's a strong lad, that's for sure. He was in the pocket of Magalh?es and Saliba but gave Kiwior a tough 8 or 9 minutes

Some of his shooting was a bit wild. He'll end up at yanited, of course...
“Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.”

?60m release clause.....I saw enough there to think that with Ode and Saka supplying him, he'd be good. Our CB's did a number on him though.....as they have to Haaland

I think he is good but I'd be tempted by Ferguson on loan from Brighton. Lot of talent there, would probably be happy coming off the bench (and I quite want an Irish player in our team)

    My view as well.

Liked the look of their winger, Quenda ? Looked comfortable on the ball for a youngster. Obviosly not yet at Saka?s level. Probably wouldn?t play second fiddle now he has a regular start.

I imagine Amorim would like to take him to United - but you are right about him being a decent prospect

I quite liked the big lump in midfield. He did a lot of standing around on the ball but I quite like that in a midfielder

There was a lot of hard running, and quite a lot of hammering the ball high into the stands. His free kick was a particular highlight

Based on last night, Isak is a far better fit for our side, but then I suppose you don't always sign someone who will fit in- sometimes you sign someone who will change the way you play.

I haven't changed my opinion- we are not yet good enough to be able to cope with having a proper centre forward in the side. Maybe in a few years.
