    BoilerWIMB

Any ideas why my heating is working but can't get any hot water? It's a combi boiler.

Have you checked the pressure bar? I have to refill mine every week as it tends to drop and the hot water cuts in and out.

I did that earlier in the year when the heating wouldn't come on either, so that's a new skill I've learnt I think as Pj says, it must be a diverter valve.

I presumed you were about to make a tasteless joke about your mum.

    The bawd's gone.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

We were gonna get our boiler serviced for 80. We had a portable digital thermostat that was getting ****ed so I asked about getting a new one that you can control from your phones.

He showed the one to buy for I think 120. He said he charged 100 to install it. But if we wanted, he'd leave the service for today, and if we ordered the bit, he'd pick it up tomorrow and come and install it. And cos there's 45 mins during the installation when he has to wait for Hive {the company that makes it} to set up all the wifi stuff over the phone, he'd service the boiler for free during that time.

Works a treat. Well worth thinking about if you're getting work done.

Best of luck and Ganpati bless.

Already have Hive (definitely worth having) but it's a new boiler as ours is facked. ?2,400
