So PSG are apparently going to offer us 80 million for Saliba

an offer which is being described as 'difficult to refuse'

Back in the real world, it would of course be incredibly easy to refuse as its a ****ing insult.

Are these stories planted to try and put the selling club under pressure? Last month I recall Real Madrid being willing to go as far as 60 million for him.

Double it and add £10m. VVD was almost £80m 7 years ago

    Anything over £100m accept it.

He's a ****ing defender, for Dennis' sake.
“Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.”

A highly talented and young one. Look at the issues we've had getting a pair of decent CB's. Must have spent well over £150m sorting that position out.

Exactly. Genuinely great centre backs are like gold dust these days. Worth a fortune

Who do they do the deal with? They got Edu’s no longer with the company auto reply. Please forward any emails to Gunnersaurus

I understand Gunnersaurus is a busy man. What about that dog?
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

You know Edu didn't/doesn't actually do things like financial stuff and contracts?

I’m still a bit confused as to why we‘ve brought in Calafiori tbf.
Is he there to cover Gabriel, because he‘s far too slow to be an effective, genuine wing back. He could compensate that snails pace by playing deeper against quicker wingers but that would risk buggering up the high press.
He’s an established international at CH, so I can’t see him being happy to sit on a bench.
So, a top player whose best position is closed off.

He's primarily there as a left back who can play at centre back. Cover for Gabriel but mainly a better defensive option than our other left backs.

While not the quickest, I think comparing him to a snail is a little harsh

Largely irrelevant as he looks as though he is going to spend most of his time injured, making him an ideal replacement for Tierney.
