I know the X keyboard warrior idiot fan club will be delighted but I think it's a huge loss.

Never sure about his remit but if it included transfers in, I‘m not seeing it as a huge loss. Tbh

    Gone where??

That is potentially an absolute disaster.

You're not happy with the players we've signed?

Stabilised the club, alongside Mikel. Gave us direction and I really don't see the issue with transfers, personally thought on the whole he's done an outstanding job.

Of course, not every transfer is going to work out as you hope but I'd say his hit rate is vastly superior to 90% of other clubs.

Just when you thought things could get no worse.

If we get the replacement wrong we are back to in fighting and paying 70 million for crap like Pepe. In short, we will become United

Edu's relationship with Arteta has been crucial. Losing him is second only to losing Arteta.

    Wenger's coming home
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Even more so when you consider he had to basically replace almost the entire squad over three years.

Gabriel, Partey, White, Odegaard, Ramsdale, Tomiyasu. These guys were crucial in turning the club around. And Trossard, Rice, Havertz and Raya have proved to be excellent signings. There were a few younger signings that didnt work (Tavareas, Lokonga, Vieira) and some other more established ones that havent done as well as we would have hoped (Jesus, Zinchenko) but as you say, that is a pretty good strike rate.

Too soon to comment on Timber, Merino and Calafiori but the signs are pretty good.

In the same period, look at United's signings.....
