None of us can be sure of how instrumental he‘s been. For example, Jesus & Zinchenko, who were key to us climbing out of a rut, were almost certainly down to Arteta. Martinelli & Gabriel definitely Edu. We‘ve also, like most other clubs, had our share of beige signings, who, to date, have looked a bit average and were subsequently farmed out.
I’m on the fence with it. Only time will tell if Arteta‘s become an unhinged megalomaniac, or if Edu was a huge stabilising influence.
It‘s odd that he‘s reportedly off to a club like Forest, even if it’s for more money.
