    Really good first 10 minutes

And we go behind to their first attack.

Cracking goal, to be fair. Not great from the centre backs...

I was just about to say all that.

    Still all to play for.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Never seen Trossard play this badly. He's stinking the place out.

We're getting steadily worse. No threat whatsoever. Lucky to be only one down.

Toothless upfront with all that talent. Missing our playmaker badly. The trio of White, Saka and Odin is absolutely key to our performances last season. I’ve accepted we‘ll not put together a proper run until January. Even looking at Liverpool, they’re so lucky with fixtures, even their tougher games are home games until January.

In fairness, we are asking a bunch of non-goalscorers to do our goalscoring for us. And set pieces.

It's just not good enough, in every area of the pitch. We've been comfortably second best since they scored.

Arteta will be furious with this performance

We're not getting the ball anywhere near them. Newcastle are in total control of the game.

Our own means of control was playing at full-back

There isn't a particular problem you can fix. That was just poor across the board. Nowhere near good enough.

We've been performing poorly all season and it has really caught up with us now.

Out of the title race by the start of November. Arteta is going to be under a lot of pressure now

There's always the Milk Cup, I suppose
