as excited as the commentators got during that exchange it was clear the whistle had gone and most players had stopped playing.

Also glad to see their is explanation now to why other teams don't get booked for kicking the ball away.
Poor old Jesus too; he's deadly from that distance.

What's the explanation, out of interest?
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

the ref was not ready to let play continue so it's ok if you boot it away it seems.

So it is OK to delay the restart if doing so doesn't actually delay the restart?

Such as, for instance, moving the ball doff your feet when the opponent has rolled it ten yards away from where it should be taken. Or knocking the ball away when the opponent is clearly going to take their time and load the penalty area?

    Interesting 😀

Things clearly not going our way at the moment, GG needs to get on to the Gods about that. Should've been a corner right at the end but the lino with the perfect view gave a goal kick which was the last kick of the match.
I will do. But it might be my fault cos I couldn't find my jade Ganpati statue had had to take a broken one to the pub.

But it might be the atheists in our fan base. The Divine can understand agnostics - after all, why would one be sure He/She exists without direct personal experience? But The Lord created atheists as a piss-take - to be 100% certain that God doesn't exist requires exactly the same leap of faith atheists accuse Muslims, Evangelicals etc of. "I have no conclusive proof either way but my [atheist] belief system tells me God doesn't exist so that must be true as my belief system is right and all other belief systems are wrong."

It's just The Loving God showing his sense of humour. Though these injuries, red cards, suspensions and disallowed goals aren't that funny.

I shall make a pooja with incense on behalf of Awimb before the next game. When is it?

Next real game is Saturday 12:30 at Newcastle. Kids and Zinny get a run out at Preston tomorrow night.

Tricky, I reckon. Can't be seen to disrespect the competition/sponsors so there'll be plenty of players out there on the pitch whom we'd rather were at home with their feet up or at most watching the game in the pub
