The Rashford decision was just utterly wrong by any measure. I can only guess that the referee didn't have the best view and didn't realise it was a deliberate trip. Otherwise he just completely bottled the decision.
It is yet another example of referees impacting a game through decisions that are not open to VAR review.

I still think he was trying to pull his leg out of the way and as they said, it didn't prevent a promising attack as he'd pushed the ball way past him and straight to our player. Not just a shirt pull, rashford stuck a leg out and tripped him deliberately. 100% yellow card, as blatant as any you'll see.
Though tbf Barkley should have had about 3 yellows as well
