    I didn't watch the game. In Ibiza and was sleeping after a heavy night. How did we look without Ode & Rice?

    Pretty **** in possession, pretty bloody good without it. Defending was excellent.

    Can't stand him normally but improved in the second half. And got the Timber decision right despite the hysterics

    Yes, but with better, anyway more expensive, players. It's beautiful.

    I thought he was awful. The initial Timber yellow wasn't even a foul.

    I wasn't sure if he booked him for that or the altercation with Vicario - I thought the latter

    He shpuld have got a ****ing medal.

    Timber was excellent throughout. Defensively he is light years ahead of Zinchenko.

    This still leaves the question of Calafiori. The cynic in me thinks he’s there to step in when we off load Saliba to Madrid for squillions in the bank.
    I also noticed the standard * world class / Too good to leave out, posts on Twitter, before basically losing his leg against France. A nice problem to have.
