I remember in the good old days you would get a new name join a thread, usually in flat view, and you would spend the next half an hour working out if it was actually somebody new or just another Fash / Tony C character...

Back in the day, going to the wire on winning the league would have been a massive catalyst for new joiners.

But that is kind of my point. Surely a closely run title should be enough to draw any lurkers out of the shadows... I guess nobody wants to use IMBs anymore.
