So Garth Crooks thinks we should switch to 442

    once Jesus returns.

Now while I consider Crooks to be a know nothing gob sh1te of the highest order (see also Tony Cascarino) whom I only read for comedic effect, thinking about this is sort of interesting:

    Rambo
    Ben Tequila Gabi Ziny
    Saka Partey Ode Martinelli
    Jesus Eddie

    Hmmmm

He just put Romero in his team of the week. Romero should have had a straight red. They are desperate to validate him as decent player, all I see is a massive liability.

NB: He also put Partey in, after one his poorer games. Although that burst of speed to waltz up to Anthony and nick the ball was probably worth his admission alone

Yeah but we'd have two up front. One of them a proper no. 9.

Think how happy red would be.

Well said, W! Crucial factors which are all too often criminally ignored, neglected around these parts.

"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

So you wouldn't go with Smith Rowe as a false nine then, red? :retreatstoasafedistance:

MA did that for the last 2-3 mins vs Sperz. ESR came on for Eddie and played there. No reason why he can't. He's used to playing in MF so can drop deep as MA likes. He can press. And he can create and score goals.

Really happy for Trossard - astute signing and to have a hand in the late winner on debut is Divine. But I hope we don't stop ESR's development. As MA said when he was injured, when ESR is fit and playing at his best, he's hard to leave out of the team.

England front 3 should be Saka, Eddie and Smith Rowe imo.
