I was thinking he can drop deep like Laca like an old no.10 striker.

And that - simply on current form - he's finishing his chances better.

And he's faster which is a great attribute for both these skills,

But the other thing Laca has, and ESR hasn't - certainly at the moment - is the upper body strength to hold off opponents just outside the box, win the all back and play short, incisive passes, hold it up with his back to goal.

I.e., the other things that a pwoppa, old skool no.9 does other than score goals.

Basically, we need to keep the young, creative 4 behind Laca - and please Ganpati, keep our sacred, not slacker Saka at the Arsenal for his whole career - and eventually get a CF who does all the stuff above that Laca does, but with more pace and better finishing.

We don't want some high-scoring box poacher with pace and 1-on-1 ability, like some we've been linked with, but not those attributes of Laca above.

I love Auba - 2 seasons of 30 goals. But that's not what we need with 3 of those 4 creatives "behind" our no.9.
