With no European football next year we've no choice but to trim at least 5 players from the squad size. That's about a 1/5 of our games gone now. Still 4 players to come back from loan too who should be around the first team too. A lot of selling to do.

    I'd keep Pepe, Xhaka & Auba.....possibly Laca.

Under AW, I bet Pepe would be so much better

    I'd defenestrate Xhaka asap.

He's very influential in the dressing room... :tapsnose:

I think Xhaka's had a decent season, certainly performed to a level above most other "senior" players......he also passes forwards. Honestly, it was like watching Sheff Utd last night. They do the same, sideways, backwards but when they actually go forward, they unsurprisingly cause problems

    no, not that, sc.

well, I mean, he might be.

If he were in industry, he'd be a shop steward type...

Passing forwards? Then backwards. Then sideways.

Only ever seems to lead to the "Horseshoe of Death" passing map

A multimillionaire socialist!? Not that that is uncommon.

and not that I'm suggesting that 3 managers can't get a tune out of this squard because of a single player. Of course.
