Apparently so. We never saw a reason to remove it, I suppose. It’s just sat there for years, snoozing, awaiting its moment.
Has it got a roll of smooth paper in it and then you rip off the bit it's printed out? Just like in a black & white war movie.

Strangely I found a lot of German hotels still love a good faxing.
