    I actually did a proper inventory of what we have in the deep freeze and fridges yesterday and, based only on that, I reckon we've got enough to make a month's worth of meals without any other food coming into the house. And proper meals. Not the chickpea cous-cous type meals that would come in in month two.

    You're awful kind, but the buitcher seems to be OK at present.

    On Friday he gave me a 1.5kg cote de boeuf and charged me 15 quid.

    I couldn't decide whether to do it as a roast with Yorkshire pudding and potatoes roasted in dripping, or as a steak with chips and bearnaise; then I realised I'd have to go to Tesco for the tarragon, so Covid-19 has drastically inhibited my choices.

    I don't think anyone's panic-buying tarragon, tbh. Certainly not in Sidcup.
