    first thing i hear when i put the telly on was coronavirus. so I had to resort to watching Chef on Gold.
    got in the car the news comes on Coronavirus

    then again i wouldn't like to hear about car crashes when I get in my car. that's why I don't like watching them dashcam programmes.

    Yes, but Coronavirus is new and therefore it's news. You don't hear about the 650,000 people who die of flu every year, either. Because you'd just say 'so what?'.

    what we need is a major british or british based sports star to die to move it down the pecking order.
