Went into the game with no expectations...heard all that tough talk before but it’s down to the players and they’re more than happy to throw people under the bus.
But first 20 minutes was good then Mustafi came on and the writing was on the wall.
Result sucks...especially as Jorginho should’ve walked long before he had a chance to wrestle Torreira to the floor for his goal.
We played so much better with Xhaka nowhere to be seen.
We need Fartinelli back...he brings speed, control and finishing which we’re not getting from Lacazette.
Nice to see our wide players forming partnerships...Maitland + Nelson looked decent while Saka + Auba seem to building a very useful bond. Definitely not ideal but we got no choice right nowto be honest....this team has been so hopeless and disjointed for so long that seeing any sort of camaraderie is awesome.
Torreira is getting back to his best.
In January we need a top class centre half...Just stop wasting time and get Dunk! I’ll happily take Koulabaly or Upamencano too!
