    Poor Tomas Cry

  2. #2

Tears in his eyes and tears in his muscles and ligaments imo

I remember not long after he signed, saying he would end up making us forget Pires Frown

    He coulda, too.

He was never quite Bobby though, was he?

I mean, bobby tearing around the cote in a convertable sports car with his beautiful wife and another equally gorgeous woman....

*sigh* Bobby, you effortlessly cool *******

All guitars, a couple of fiddles and no drums. Very much a metaphor for the current side

Close, but not quite. Still got more chances than Vladimir Petrovic - that unsung

diamond of fabulosity, so crudely and disgustingly repressed by Don Howe

Poor Vlad. Mind you he wasn't really build for 1980s first division football.

If he'd stayed some moronic centre half would have killed him.

You are right, he was a most delicate technician, who produced

a most exquisite performance in an FA Cup quarter final at home to Villa. Amazing skills and in all probability he would eventually have been mutilated by someone like Mickey Droy (though he was playing in the 2nd division at that point) or Graham Roberts.

I remember an evening game, possibly UEFA cup, when he was just mesmerising.

He could actually control a football! This was new and exciting territory for us.
