    to be offended when a lesbian dresses as a man?

    Lesbians can do whatever they like. Mo. We all know that.

    There must at some point be some kind of Offended Event Horizon at which point the whole

    mincing edifice of being deliberately offended comes crashing down.

    Not really, because the alternative is even worse.

    Give people a platform for airing their grievances and it keeps them away from *really* dangerous and subversive activities, like trying to steal your job.

    Imagine if they decide there's not enough diversity at The Guardian, for example. As an editor or journalist on the staff whose job was therefore under threat, surely you would rather they created a brand new department to deal with the issue than they actively, you know, actually dealt with the issue, likely by kicking *you* out and replacing you with one of these disgruntled individuals? :sirhumphrey:
