The man's a humourless, pretentious, lefty prude. I have watched one too many films he has praised to high heaven only to be bored to tears now. The Falling was the last straw for me and him. Also, this uncritical lauding of everything Bond is annoying me no end.
Besides, I have an aversion to animated features developed by watching too many when E was a littly. I watched that 'Inside Out' everyone raves about on a plane back from Singapore (having already seen everything else on my magic box) and found myself utterly unmoved.
