Thread: The important issue of last night.

  1. #1

The important issue of last night.

Did the voice c**t on ITV make that bit about the deliberate back-pass up?

  2. #2

The one when he headed it back and Kos hit the bar?

  3. #3

    Nod

Has to be a deliberate pass or touch by the opposition in order to make an attacker onside.

  4. #4

I think he made it up. He would've been right if Kos was offside when it was taken.

In so much as he was offside from the original kick. No idea what he was waffling on about with the whole intentional back pass *******s.

  5. #5

That utterly baffled me too. I think it must be *******s. It simply must be

    It makes absolutely no sense.

  6. #6

Exactly, I can't believe what he said its true

  7. #7

But if Kos was offside when it was taken, a deflection - inadvertent or not - off a defender

would not change the fact that Kos was offside

I don't even understand what he COULD have meant.

  8. #8

Yes that's what i mean. The only way he could've been flagged offside there would've been if he

was in an offisde position when the free kick was taken or if it came off an Arsenal head and not a Monaco one. He made up that rule, and he seemed to actually believe it.

  9. #9

*******s surely - if that was true it would have to work the other way

which it blatantly isn't when an attacker gets the ball unintentionally from a team mate

  10. #10

So the only way he could've been flagged offside would've been if he was offside Oh well
