Sir C as I was saying

    Happens all the time, d.

A European war between nuclear powers? I'm not convinced Putin is that mental. I could be wrong, of course,

Christ, the Irish Air Corps doesn't have a single modern fighter.

When those nasty Russkies start dropping lead on Dublin we're going to have to sort them for you, aren't we? :sigh:

Seems to be a weekly occurance, at the moment. Am I right in saying that the incident a few weeks

ago where Putin flew two Tu-95 bombers straight through the English Channel was a rarity. I understand that he usually sticks to more open areas.

Anyway, I'm not really sure why he bothers. It seems a pointless exercise for all concerned. Did you see we had to summon HMS Tyne to see of some Russian battleships in the channel last week?

Research shows we actually have 27 various aircraft.

10 of which are helicopters and 1 of which looks like a model or something you and your chums would buzz around the skys of Kent in.

It's all a bit embarrassing really, isn't it?

You'd think that after making such a fuss about being independent, you'd do something to secure that status.

hehe It's a mixture of helicopters, transport aircraft and VIP transport.

Well equipped to defend the skies of the Republic?

  9. #9

Part of NATO so why buy your own?

    We are lovers, not fighters.

Fighting in the skies, all a bit silly really.
