We played horribly and still beat Palace last week. I think Boro is better than Palace, but I doubt we'll play so poorly 2 straight weeks.

No Alexis is bad for us, but Giroud/Theo/Wellbeck/Ozil/Cazorla/Rosicky should be able to tear them apart up top.

Gibbs for Monreal is not a step down. Throwing the new boy Angel Gabriel in would be a risk, but this is certainly the game to take that level of risk.
