He's gone through a number of defenders and midfielders in that time, some very good ones indeed, but the overall shape and tactical discipline has always been our undoing in key games. The only common denominator to this is Arsene himself and he looks nowhere near close to solving these.
He has more money at his disposal and recently bought Ozil and Sanchez, both world class, but the team still plays the same way and the weak links are the same.

If anything, it seems our possession exposes us more than anything and that's because we over-commit to retain the ball and are all over the place once we lose it. You look at Chelsea's play and they don't look that much out of shape when they lose as their team collectively know what to do once the ball is lost. This is a key failure of ours for a number of seasons now.
