Thread: So - follow on or not?

So - follow on or not?

  2. #2

I think we have decided not... so wait for the complaints to flood in

  3. #3

Gives us 3 hours to rack up another 200 or so, then back in just before tea.

Re: So - follow on or not?

Send them out again....good rest last night...couple of wickets today to give some confidence...go for the kill now.

  5. #5

I'd be inclined to say not

Been bowling quite a while, a rest would help, especially on this pitch.

Hopefully it will deteriorate a bit as well.

  6. #6

I remember Vaughan getting stick for not enforcing it once

then for doing so in an almost identical situation. Probably by Berni, awimb's Ian Botham

Agree with you - bat them out of the game and then you can all-out attack.

  8. #8

The strategy relies on us having a very clear idea of what total we want to set them and having the

courage not to be too conservative if necessary. If we had a decent skipper, I'd be comfortable with that.

The problem is that we have Cook.

  9. #9

Strauss was really conservative with declarations as well

    cost us a few times.

  10. #10

    450 lead by 3.10 imo
