swap during the game?
I've always wanted to see Feo on the left anyway. A fast no.14 cutting inside onto his right foot. His goal against City being a perfect example.
It would be good if they just have a specific flank only when defending. Confuses the defenders and also means one of them can get closer to Olly for his flicks when he wins the ball.
But assuming the front three are Alexis-Olly-Feo, which one would theoretically start on the left?
to wrestle with that selection conundrum. When he's fit again Giroud will probably be injured and Sanchez will go up front. When Giroud is back, Özil will have picked up something and he might move Cazorla to the centre because Rosicky has died, and hence move Sanchez to the left.
I don't think you'll ever see a game in which all of our players are fit and where this situation will arise.
In your theoretical/hypothetical scenario it would probably be Sanchez on the right and Ox/Theo/Cazorla on the left. Sanchez didn't really feature at left wing for Barcelona at all.
tough away matches (assuming everyone is fit?)
Or do you reckon he'd play Santi instead of one of them?
Given Ozzy's more like Bergy than a midfielder, that's very attacking.
So on the Khedira/DM debate you could argue that you'd need another box-to-boxer to stop Rambo getting over-run. Or that you'd definitely want a DM to sit like Gilby did.
though.
Santi-Ozzy-Feo then Alexis.
But I think Olly may be the work horse to get the best out of all the skillful ones.
If all are fit, do you really think Alexis will be our no.9 type by the end of next season?
Weirdo.
