Generally what times of your working day are you not actually working?

You could say all day with a poster like me.

But for example do you set your own sort of times. For example you might start at 9am but by the time you arrive get a coffee mess about you can't really get going until 10am.

I go for lunch at 1. But at 12 I seem to stop. and 4pm - 4.30pm I stop completely.]

Also what are your time wasting techniques. For example if you want to kill 30 mins maybe you go for a stroll and speak to other folks in different departments.

I'm working for a US firm with eastern and pacific time zones

I can still be working through the evenings

Having previously worked for the japanese, I'd say they're all tied to their desks.
The difference in working ethos is that the japanese die at theirs.

I work for Japanese Frown There is a whole office on the otherside where it's all Japanese.

If you walk through there it's deadly silent.
I am sick of adding San to peoples names.

None of them will go home until the manager leaves. And it's rude for them to use all of their holidays up.
