Thread: If we don't with the FA cup. I will give up on this lot for good.

If we don't with the FA cup. I will give up on this lot for good.

And football completely. I find it boring. Not helped by Arsenals uninspiring approach to things imo.

Call it glory hunting if you will but it's not that.I like to have something slightly inspiring or interesting to watch. And they don't do either.

Happy with 4th. being smashed by rivals on a regular basis. No thanks. Knocked out after the group stages of the CL each year with the tie over at the end of the first leg.

And all this just to finish 4th so we can do it again next year.

'f**k off then' 'go support someone else' 'Lucky you don't support this other team' 'spoiled' 'we used to be **** in the old days'

This is not the case. I am just completely bored of it. Football R.I.P

And I am not the only one on here who is bored with it. Plenty of people seem to be.

That is a ridiculous thing to say, if we all reacted similarly we would have given up years ago

Come and support England in the cricket, F. We're good at th...

    ... oh

I have a funny feeling that wenger is thinking the same. I think he will walk if we dont finish

    Fourth and win the cup.

It is beginning to feel like the end of something.... He may go anyway.

    You are probably right

I dont think asking someone who is already bored to watch cricket is particularly fair

Perhaps best for all parties if he left even having won the cup.

He leaves as a winner having put to bed the media angle of 9 years or whatever it is. The win will allow him to have somewhat repaired what is a tarnished reputation in the eyes of some / many.

He leaves at the natural end of a contract so nothing untoward on the behalf of the club who like to be seen to not do untoward things.

The flaw in the above would be the appointment of a successor which one likes to believe will have been a long, meticulously planned succession programme with a new man in place and ready to step in on June 1. The fact that we are, or appear to be, so far down the line with a new contract for Wenger suggests the above is not occurring.

He will sign a new deal in June, if not before.

I do hope so, he is one of the best managers in the world.

Plus, I don't think he gives a **** what other people think of him.

    :RAGEFLOUNCE:

I understand your frustration though. It is a little bit gloomifying at the moment. I spent the rest of the weekend exploring the routes of lost rivers (Walbrook and Westbourne) in an attempt to take my mind of it. Certainly better than moping. not that I don't still feel a bit mopey of course.

    Surely more of an antipaflounce

I decided to thrown myself into skyrim with no little gay abandon.

Take it out on dragons, that's my solutuion
