    Crazy, it would have smacked of desperation anyway, but the idea that he actually turned us down is more than embarrassing.

    Wonder if Wenger made a late move for Hatem Trabelsi and Sebastien Frey as well...

    It would be nice to imagine though that Arsenal is such a great name in football that no one would want to turn us down, let alone a washed-up journeyman winger.

    Why we would stoop to the depths of wanting Kalou is a bigger shame

    not a bad player but not what we needed.

    Just read the article, it was a loan deal and he was worried of losing his world cup place if not

    regular, wouldn't you do the same?
