Thread: What will happen with Gibbs Red card ??

What will happen with Gibbs Red card ??

Assume there will be an appeal and he will win that, but can the FA then give the red to Oxlade-Chamberlain after the event and he will then serve the suspension? or is it a case of "dealt with on the day" with the sending off?

I assume we will lose Alex for 3 games now... yes?

Yes, all that, I reckon. But we won't need to appeal; the FA will merely correct the error.

It will go to Ox. but 3 games?... wasn't violent conduct

  4. #4

    It's a one game ban.

yep... sorry you are right... I stand corrected .. Smile

Which will add insult to injury as the ball was going wide. The coorect course of action is to

rescind the red card for Gibbs and to do nothing else.

Its a one game ban but Sky Sports are reporting that there won't be one as it was going wide
