Is it just the Daily Mail who seem to be pointing the finger at the pilots of the missing plane?

    No..

The offical briefing has enough content to point a suspicious finger at the pilots (or atleast one of them.

Given the predicament, it would be surprising if none of the cockpit boys are complicit in switching off the communications system within 25 mins of takeoff...

They played the recording on the radio

I'm not sure it was a pilot, especially as they didnt say "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....." before they spoke.

you mean someone other than the cockpit boys knew exactly about the changeover zone when switching

    off the transponders ?

Dont think anyone, even under duress would have been forced to share that piece of information to a potential assaulter ..

It was a perfectly standard hand off. In fact, another MAS crew on frequency heard it and confirmed

that they recognised the voice of the FO.
